The core teaching programs of the New York Youth Symphony are made possible through leading support of the

"Get-On Music," a project to bring students from New York City's diverse neighborhoods to performances and to meet the musicians has been made possible
in memory of Ruth and Lenard Mandel.

"Performances for Special Audiences," bringing music to children with special needs, has been made possible through the generosity of

Expansion of the Recruitment Program has been made possible through the generosity of the
Altman Foundation.

First Music 26, the twenty-sixth season of new works by the nation's most outstanding young composers commissioned by the New York Youth Symphony, is made possible through a generous grant from the
Mary Flagler Cary Charitable Trust.

The New York Youth Symphony is the recipient of funding through the MetLife Music for Life initiative of the
Metlife Foundation.

Funding for sheet music for the members of the New York Youth Symphony for rehearsal and performance has been graciously provided by
The Marble Fund.

The Next Generation Fund

Encouraged by a challenge grant of $300,000 from the Mary Flagler Cary Charitable Trust, the New York Youth Symphony is undertaking a campaign with the goal of increasing its endowment and reserve funds to $4 million.
